Udupi: Vishwasadamane reunites destitute wife/toddler with husband from Bihar

Udupi, 13 Oct 2016: Vishwasadamane, orphanage and rehabilitation centre, Shankerapura, reunited destitute wife and toddler with her husband, hailing from Bihar on Tuesday, October 11.
Thirty-year-old Malatidevi along with a toddler in tow was found rummaging on garbage along NH near Tenka Yermal, here on September 27. They were picked up by Padubidri police and journalist Suresh Yermal and dropped at Vishwasadamane on September 27 night.
The staff at Vishwasadamane bathed both Malatidevi and her toddler; dressed with new clothes and fed them. The doctors confirmed her mental ailment and began treating. As a result, both were recovered in a week. She expressed her desire to return to her native in Bihar. The staff at Vishwasadamane contacted SP Mukesh in Bihar who advised to send their pics by whatsapp. The police confirmed Malatidevi is the wife of Mukesh and intimated the her where about in Vishwasadamane.
Mukesh began the 5-day train journey and reached Vishwasadamane on Tuesday morning. He was happy to reunite with his wife and their toddler. He thanked Vishwasadamane chief functionary Pastor Sunil D’Souza and began their return journey along with his wife and toddler on Tuesday evening.
Malatidevi was missing with her toddler since 3 months. She had mental problems after the delivery and was under medication. She soon went missing and at last found in the limits of Udupi.
