Bantwal: Levin Group celebrates Ayudha Puja with free eye camp/sports meet

Bantwal, 11 Oct 2016: Ayudha puja is a festive occasion for employees of Levin Group regardless of faith, caste and creed. It posters bond between the employees, said the entrepreneur Pius L Rodrigues.  

 

Levin Group managing partner Pius organized the celebration of Ayudha puja at the company premises on Monday, October 10, as he was convinced that the workmen have emotional value to the equipments that they work with and puja gives them mental stability and trust.

 

 

One-day sports meet for all employees was also held on Sunday, October 9. Free eye camp was held for the employees also.

 

Levin Group comprises Levin Electricals, Levin Engineering and Levin Enterprises and employs 600 workmen.

 

The entire premises of Levin Group wore festive look, while the district-in-charge minister B Ramanath Rai inaugurated the celebrations.

 

The minister Rai lauded the Levin Group in organizing the Ayudha puja that fosters communal harmony and brotherhood.

 

 

Agrar parish priest Fr Gregory D’Souza blessed the premises and in his message hoped the owner prospers with the puja celebrations, the workmen get just wages for their hard work, peace and happiness in their jobs.

 

ZP member Chandraprakash Shetty and Mayilappa Salian distributed the prizes to the winners of sports meet during a simple function.

 

The optometrists of Prasad Netralaya, Mangaluru offered free eye checks of all workmen and their families.

 

Monica Rodrigues, Rajesh Rodrigues, Varadaraj, Dr Savita of Prasad Netralaya and others were present.

 

Pius welcomed the gathering. Rajesh Kakkyapadav compered the programme.
