Gow Kinkara Yatra gets ceremonious welcome to Venoor

Karkala, 29 Sep 2016: The nation and its wealth will not exist without sacred cows. The society has to do the noble deed of preserving the cows, said Swami Ramachandra of Kapilashram, Uttar Kashi.
Swami Ramachandra was delivering his message during Gow Kinkara Yatra of Beltangady taluk at Mahalingeshwar temple, Venoor on Wednesday September 28.
Cows are a precious wealth. The fostering of orphaned cows by Swami Raghaveshwar Bharati of Ramachandrapura mutt, Hosanagar, near Beltangady, is worthy indeed, added Swami Ramachandra.
Swami Muktanand of Karinje offered motion for the Yatra on the occasion.
Dr B P Indra presided the programme.
The temple administrator Jayakirti Jain was present.
Attaje Keshav Bhat delivered the preliminary address. M P Bhat welcomed the gathering. Vijay Gowda compered the programme.
