Mangaluru: AIR Program Director Dr S Perla conferred Devaraj Urs Award

Mangaluru, 21 Sep 2016: Dr Sadanand Perla, programme director of AIR, Mangaluru was conferred Devaraj Urs Award by Karnataka state government.

 

The Award was conferred during the birth anniversary celebration of Karnataka former CM the late D Devaraj Urs at Kalburgi recently, in the presence of district in charge and state medical education minster Dr Sharana Prakash Patil and Lok Sabha opposition leader Mallikarjuna Karge.

 

 

Dr Perla served for 16 years at AIR, Kalburgi and now serving as programme director at AIR, Mangaluru since 6 years.

 

He has innovated the radio programmes that are popular across DK district among the rural folks.
