Bantwal: Overwhelming response for Bharat Bandh across taluk

Bantwal, 03 Sep 2016: Bharat Bandh that was called by different labor unions against new labor reforms and road safety Act was successful across taluk on Friday September 2.

 

 

The bus terminuses of both private and state-run buses wore deserted look till local bus services were resumed at 5.00pm. The school buses were off road as the authorities announced holiday citing Bharat Bandh. The daily commuters including pilgrims to Dharmasthala were hit hard owing to stalling of all bus services.   

 

The policemen were patrolling the streets throughout the day to avoid any untoward incidences.
