Udupi: SMVIMT students plant over 100 saplings during Vanamahotsav at Bantakal

Udupi, 02 Sep 2016: NSS and youth Red Cross units of Sri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Management and Technology (SMVIMT), Bantakal, near here in collaboration with Rotary/Rotaract Club – Shankerpura organized Vanamahotsav programme at the Institute campus, on Thursday September 1.
The principal Professor Dr Tirumaleshwar Bhat inaugurated the programme by planting a sampling on the occasion.
Sri Madhwa Vadiraja Education Trust secretary Ratnakumar, Rotary Club 0 Shankerpura president Anil D’Sa, Rotaract Club president Ganapati Acharya, NSS and Rotaract Club co-ordinator Nagaraj Rao, heads of different departments, students planted over 100 saplings in the campus.
