Kasargod: Foundation laid for guesthouse at Nityanand Yogashram, Kondevoor

Kasargod, 30 Aug 2016: The foundation laying ceremony for guesthouse was held at Nityananda Yogashram, Kondevoor, near Uppala, here on Monday August 29.
Swami Mohandas Paramahamsa of Sri Dhama mutt, Manila, Bantwal laid the foundation for new guesthouse at Nityananda Yogashram, Kondevoor, near Uppala, here on Monday morning.
Swami Mohandas conveyed best wishes for the Yogashram to become a global religious center.
Speaking on the occasion, Deviprasad Asranna, chief priest of Kateel temple said that Yogashram has been fostering ancient traditions and practices in Uppala that has been blessed after the installation of idol of goddess Gayatri.
Swami Yoganand Saraswati of Yogashram in his religious message said, ‘We are here on earth for short while, everything goes as per God’s will,’ he said.
Karnataka former Deputy CM K S Eshwarappa was the chief guest of the occasion lauded the social welfare activities of Yogashram.
Karnataka HC advocate Venkateshwar, Dr Manjunath Kasargod, Karnatkaa BJP core Committee member Sulochana Bhat, Mangaluru entrepreneur Sridar Shetty Mutta, Dr Asha Jyoti Rai Mangaluru also spoke on the occasion.
Sadanand Navoor, A J Shekar, K P Suresh, Mallesh Mysore, Chandrashekar Ucchil and Sharavanan were present.
Divya Karant rendered the prayers. Gopal Bandyod welcomed the gathering. Meera teacher proposed the vote of thanks. Deviprasad Shetty compered the programme.
The Vedic celebrations were at Yogashram that was attended by a large number of devotees who arrived from distant lands.
The Taalamaddale of mythological episode, Bheeshma Senadipatya – Karmabandha, was staged here by the renowned artistes from Monday afternoon till evening. The gathering was glued to the show in awe.
