BCS unit of Jerimeri parish, Kurla (W) organizes blood camp

Mumbai, 10 Aug 2016: Bombay Catholic Sabha (BCS) unit of St Jude’s parish, Kurla (West) here organized blood camp at the parish hall, on Sunday August 7.
St Jude’s parish priest Fr Lancy Pinto inaugurated the blood camp here on Sunday morning.
Speaking on the occasion, Fr Lancy said that donating blood by healthy individuals improves overall health and it’s a noble deed.
Hundreds of volunteers donated blood that was organized in collaboration with Holy Spirit Hospital Blood Bank, Andheri (East) here.
Blood Bank medical officer Dr Manisha Kamat, Sujata Patil, Yogesh Patil, Arati Dubel, Bhakti Singh, Kiran Bandagle, Madhavi Shegde were involved in pooling the blood form donors.
BCS Jerimeri parish unit president Leo Fernandes Jerimeri, vice president Augustine Kutikat, secretary Kevin D’Souza, Walter D’Souza, Daniel Sequeira, Victor Pereira, John Rodrigues and parishioners donated their blood on the occasion.
BCS Jerimeri parish unit vice president Flora D’Souza Kalmady compered the programme. The treasurer S Raj proposed vote of thanks.
