Mumbai: Gokulavani, Kannada Monthly invites entries for annual story contest

Mumbai, 11 Aug 2016: Gokulavani, Kannada monthly bulletin published by Bombay South Kanara Brahmin Association (BSKBA), here organized All India Kannada Story Competition, to publish annual top stories in December annual special issue.
The first winner will be awarded cash prize of Rs 7,000, second Rs 5,000, third Rs 3,000 and if the jury decides will be awarded consolation prize of Rs 1,000 each.
Rules:
Only unpublished own authored story will be accepted, no translated stories. One can send only one story. The typed story should be within 8 to 10 pages, if its clearly handwritten that should be within 10 to 15 pages. The authors name should not be written in the story instead need to be written separately. No entry fee. If the author contacts the editor or any office bearer of BSKBA, such will be considered invalid. The decision of jury binds at all circumstances. The last date to receive the entries will be October 15, 2018.

The results will be intimated by post and also published in Gokulavani – Kannada Monthly besides in other dailies. No scope for correspondence on results, stated Gokulavani – honorary editor Dr Vyasa Rao Ninjoor.
