Udupi: Interact Clubs instill social concern among students - Dr Hegde

Udupi, 07 Aug 2016: The students of today will be the future responsible citizens. The leadership training in studentship along with real training through different associations in schools will transform them into ideal individuals when they grow up, said Rotary Club International (RCI) – Shirva president Dr Arun Hegde.
Dr Arun was speaking during the installation ceremony of Interact Club at Don Bosco English School, Shirva, near here on Saturday August 6.
RCI – Shirva former president William Machado explained how Interact Club in high school level introduces the social welfare activities of RCI.
Don Bosco Interact Club president Mohammed Ahmed, secretary Delisha Castelino and treasurer Nidhi Shetty assumed their respective charges.
The School principal Fr Mahesh D’Souza after releasing the handbills on dengue said that Interact Clubs are helpful in developing social concern among the students.
Melvyn D’Souza, K R Patkar, Professor Vittal Nayak were present.
Interact Club director Alwyn Danti compered the programme. Delisha Castelino proposed vote of thanks.
