Mangaluru: Dabak Daba Aisa, Tulu movie premiered simultaneously in theaters of DK & Udupi

Mangaluru, 06 Aug 2016: I am inclined to produce Tulu movie as I was overwhelmed watching box office Tulu hit movie, Chalipolilu that has created history in Tulu filmdom with limited viewers by running in theaters for 511 days and new movie, Dabak Daba Aisa, both are produced by Prakash Pandeshwar. I will produce my next movie in Tulu in collaboration with Prakash Pandeshwar, said multilingual renowned movie producer K Manju.

 

Manju was speaking after launching Tulu movie, Dabak Daba Aisai at Suchitra theater, here produced under the banner of Jayakirana Films by Prakash Pandeshwar who has also written its script.

He also lauded the Prakash Pandeshwar’s determination to produce Tulu movies at par with movies in other languages.

 

Tulu movie producers Association president T A Srinivas said that as long as Tulu movie lovers exist the recent piracy of Daba Daba Aisa before the premier show will not affect Tulu filmdom.   

 

The co-director Dervdas Pandeshwar, Tulu theater artistes Association president Kishore D Shetty, Akhila Bharata Tulu Okkoota general secretary N Sasidar Shetty, producer R Dhanaraj, Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy member Mohan Koppala, Inland Builders chairman Siraj Ahmed, movie actors Navin D Padil, Devdas Kapikad, Laxman Kumar Mallur, Sarojini Shetty, heroine Sheetal Nayak, Girish Shetty Kateel, Surendra Bantwal, Pradeep Alva, Madhu Suratkal, PVR Group chief Hemant, Chetan Anand, Pramod Ballalbagh, Uday Poojary, veteran actor V G Pal, Taranat Shetty Bolar, choreographer Tamma Laxman, Rajesh Mangaluru, Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy former president Umanat Kotian, Karnoor Mohan Rai and others were present.

Dabak Daba Aisa, movie was simultaneously screened in theaters of Suchitra, Big Cinemas, PVR and Cinepolis at Mangaluru city, Radhika theater in Karkala, Bharat theater in Beltangady, Kalpana theater in Udupi, Aruna theater in Puttur, Nakshatra theater in B C Road, Bantwal, Amarashree theater in Moodbidri, I-Nax theater in Manipal and PVR in Koramangala, Bengaluru.
