Mangaluru: CCB to investigate Piracy case of Tulu movie, Dabak Daba Aisa

Mangaluru, 23 Jul 2016: At the backdrop of piracy of Tulu movie, Dabak Daba Aisa, the office bearers of Tulu movies producers Association and members submitted a complaint to city police commissioner M Chandrashekar, here on Friday July 22.
M Chandrashekar after gathering the detailed information on the case, instructed deputy police commissioner Dr Sanjeev Patil to hand over the case to city crime bureau (CCB) for further investigation.
They also met Western Range IGP Anil Chakravarti and also submitted another complaint in this regard. IGP Anil assured the delegation of thorough investigations into the case.
Tulu movies producers Association president T A Srinivas, office bearers Devdas Kapikad, R Dhanaraj, Devdas Pandeshwar, Prakash Pandeshwar, Sharmila Kapikad, N R K Vishwanat, Sai Krishna and others were present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, Karkala town police raided several mobile shops and cyber enters related to piracy of Tulu movie, Dabak Daba Aisa, produced by Prakash Pandeshwar under the banner Jayakirana Films.
The sleuths interrogated a certain Sasikant, native of Kuntalpady in Karkala taluk who confessed the names of his other accomplices. They have been warned of likely imprisonment related to the case.

The owner of a mobile recharge shop located near Bhuvanendra College in Moodbidri town was found to be downloading the Tulu movie, Dabak Daba Aisa to the students and others @ Rs 20 since a few days, informed police sources.
The police summoned the owners of mobile shops and cyber enters that come under the jurisdiction of Karkala town police and warned them to shun illegal activities.
