Mandd Sobhann to present Konkani play, Love Letters as 174th Monthly Theater in city on Jun 5

Mangaluru, 04 Jun 2016: Mandd Theater Group will be presenting an experimental play titled, Love Letters during 174th Monthly Theater of Mandd Sobhann, city-based Konkani organization striving to promote Konkani and its distinct culture worldwide, at Kalaangann, Makale, Shaktinagar, here on Sunday June 5 at 6.30pm.

 

 

The play is based on Javed Siddiqi’s Hindi play, Tumhari Amrita, which was translated in Kannada as ‘Iti Ninna Amrutha’ by Jayant Kaikini and again translated to Konkani by Vitori Karkal.

 

Christopher D’Souza Neenasam, the trainer of Kalakul Theater Repertory and Zeena Braggs will be enacting the play under the direction of Viddu Uchil.
