’Miracle woman’ breathes her last

Mysuru, 24 May 2016: A week after a woman who was found alive during the funeral procession, all efforts to save her life went in vain on Monday.

 

Padmabai Loda (59), breathed her last at Apollo BGS Hospitals here at 2.30 pm. The last rites were performed in the evening at the crematorium near the foot of Chamundi Hill. 

 

Loda, wife of businessman Mahendra Kumar Loda, had hit headlines last week after some movements were found in her otherwise rickety body, before the cremation.

 

Loda had been admitted to a hospital after she complained of respiratory problems on May 16. Same day, she was presumed dead, after the doctors gave no hopes of her recovery.
