Puttur: Exit meeting of NAAC Peer Team held at St Philomena College

Puttur, 06 April 2016: NAAC Peer Team visited St Philomena College here for the Third cycle of assessment and accreditation from April 4 to April 6.
The peer team comprising Professor Ashish Roy, former vice chancellor of Kalyani University, West Bengal as the chairman, Professor Murli Desai, former head of Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai as the member co-ordinator and Dr Pande R K, principal, Shiv Harsh Kisan PG College Basti, Uttar Pradesh as the member visited various departments and facilities of the college. They had interaction with the principal, IQAC, members of the management, teaching staff, administrative staff, students, alumni and parents.
The Exit Meeting of the Peer Team was held on the final day. The chairman of the Peer Team Professor Ashish Roy shared his observation in this meeting and handed over the detailed report to principal Professor Leo Noronha.
Catholic Board of Education secretary Fr Gerald D’Souza and the correspondent Fr Alfred J Pinto were present on this occasion.
Professor Leo Noronha welcomed the gathering. IQAC co-ordinator Dr A P Radhakrishna proposed the vote of thanks. NAAC steering Committee co-ordinator Professor Ganesh Bhat compered the session.
