Mangaluru: Kudla Cafe, Tulu movie premiered simultaneously in theaters across coastal district

Mangaluru, 13 Feb 2016: Kudla Café, Tulu movie produced under the banner of Yodha Motion Pictures, directed by Surya Menon was released at Jyoti talkies, here on Friday February 12.
It was premiered in 13 theaters across coastal district on Friday. Jyoti, Big Cinemas, Cinepolis and PVR theaters of Mangaluru city, Aruna theater in Puttur, I-nax in Manipal, Nakshatra in B C Road – Bantwal, Amarashree in Moodbidri, Radhika and Planet in Karkala, Nataraj in Suratkal, Santosh in Sullia and Bharat in Beltangady.
RSS veteran Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat inaugurated the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhat said, ‘Tulu movies contributed significantly in promoting Tulu. The native culture and traditions need to be depicted in Tulu movies,’ said Bhat.
Sri Devi Education Institutions managing director A Sadanand Shetty lauded the movie, Kudla Café, for laying importance to sports. There are no many movies made in Tulu with the theme sports. Kudla Café has the background of Kabaddi that would be of interest for the viewers,’ said Shetty.
Dakshina Kannada district Kabaddi Association honorary president Amarnat Rai, Chandrashekar Rai, Purushottam Poojary, Ratan Shetty, Laxman Shetty, actor Naveen D Padil, producer Ranjan Shetty, Kudla Sai Krishna, Kishore Kottary, Jyotish Shetty, Sunayana Rohit Shetty, Shaine Shetty, Raghu Pandeshwar, Bantwal Jayaram Acharya were present.

Kudla Café that revolves around Kabaddimates has been screened during International Festival at Bengaluru. The views will certainly like it, said Ranjan Shetty.
A group of childhood friends who used to spend their free time at Kudla Café decide to sustain their favorite joint that was running in trouble. They organize Kabaddi tournament to raise funds. The story goes on and successful in holding the attention of viewers, explained Ranjan.
