Mangaluru: CLC unit of Permannur parish launches Poor Students Fund

Mangaluru, 11 Feb 2016: The fortieth anniversary of CLC unit of Permannur parish, here was held at the parish grounds recently. Bishop Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza of Mangaluru diocese presided the programme.

 

The state health and family welfare minister U T Khader was the guest of honor.

 

 

Stany D’Souza Bengaluru, Maxim Misquith, J B D’Cunha, Edwin Mascarenhas, Henry Sequeira, Roopesh Madta, Praveen Joy Saldanha, Ullas D’Costa, Lucas D’Souza and others were the guests present.

 

The poor students fund was launched on the same occasion.

 

Paniyare Avandina, Tulu play by playwright Devidas Kapikad was staged as entertainment programme.

 

CLC president Joseph D’Souza welcomed the gathering. The secretary Ronald read the annual report. The assistant secretary Herald Serrao proposed vote of thanks. Melvyn D’Souza and Alwyn D’Souza compered the programme.
