Mangaluru: Pavitra, Tulu movie simultaneously premiered in theaters across coastal district

Mangaluru, 06 Feb 2016: Pavitra, Tulu movie produced under the banner of Indira Movies was premiered in Suchitra Talkies, here on Friday February 5.

 

Chandikori, Tulu movie director Devdas Kapikad and Chalipolilu, Tulu movie producer Prakash Pandeshwar inaugurated the programme here on Friday morning.

 

‘It’s the golden era for Tulu filmdom, because many Tulu movie are released. Meanwhile, the viewers will certainly patronize the movies that has a social message and of their taste,’ said Devdas Kapikad.

 

 

‘Tulu filmdom has grown to be an industry now.  More movies are being produced with talented young artistes,’ said Prakash Pandeshwar.

 

Pavitra, Tulu movie producer Anantaram Rao Yermal said, ‘I have produced Tulu movie with my love for mother tongue Tulu at my age of 83-years. I trust the viewers patronize the movie,’ said Rao. He also urged to form Tulu movie producers Association.

 

Dakshina Kannada district journalists Association president Jagannat Shetty Bala, producer Gangadar Shetty, Kishore Kottari, R Dhanaraj, Sharat Kadri, Pammi Kodialbail, Vaman Shetty, Roopesh, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Umesh Mijar, Pavitra – Tulu movie lead characters Chirashree Anchan, Ranjan Boloor and Ranjit Suvarna were present.

 

Soujanya Hegde compered the programme. 

 

Pavitra, Tulu movie was screened simultaneously in theaters of Suchitra, Big Cinemas, PVR and Cinepolisin Mangaluru city; Kalpana in Udupi; I-Nax in Manipal, Nakshatra in B C Road, Bantwal; Amarashree in Moodbidri and Aruna in Puttur.

 

The movie has depicted the transition of bidi industry in the coastal district that grew to be a major industry sustaining rural populace.  J G Krishna is the cameraman, Risel Sahi is the music director and Ashokraj is the choreographer.  It has two stunt scenes directed by Siddaraj.

 

The famed Tulu movie actors Kuseldarase Naveen D Padil, Arvind Bolar and Bhojaraj Vamanjoor are cast in the movie.  Shravant, Chirashree, Umesh Mijar, Ranjan Boloor, Raghu Pandeshwar, Manoj Puttur, Shobha Rai, Vidhya, Supreeta, Deepika, Ranjita Shet, Ritesh Mangaluru, Vasant, Timmappa Kulal and others are cast in the movie. The script by Anantaram Rao Yermal, directed by Nagavenkatesh, dialogues by Ranjit Suvarna.
