Mumbai: Mortal remains of GSB religious leader Swami Sudhindra laid to rest at Haridwar

Mumbai, 17 Jan 2016: Swami Sudhindra of Kashi mutt, religious leader of GSB community passed away here on Saturday January 16. He was under treatment at Seven Hill Hospital, Andheri (East) here. His mortal remains were ferried by air ambulance and laid at rest at Haridwar, on Saturday.
Swami Sayamindra of Kashi mutt, Varanasi and Satish Ram Naik including veterans of GSB community were present.
The passing away of Swami Sudhindra is the major loss to the entire nation and not only to GSB community, said Satish Ram Naik Matunga, convener of GSB Seva Mandal – Sion Ganeshotsav Committee.
GSB Seva Mandal – Sion president Raghavendra G Bhat, vice president Ramanath Kini, honorary secretary Ramesh Bhandarkar, treasurer Suresh Bhat, joint secretary Prashant Puranik, joint treasurer Prashant Mallya, Ganeshotsav Committee convener Dr Bhujanga Pai, co-convener G D Rao, temple priest Krishna Bhat, Kashi mutt governing council president Mohandas Mallya, secretary Madhusudan Pai, GSB Sabha Dahisar – Borivali® president K R Mallya, vice president Mohini S Shanbagh, honorary general secretary M U Padiyar, joint secretaries Sanoor Manohar V Kamat and R V Shenoy and hundreds of devotees expressed their condolences.
