Mumbai: Kannadiga Journos celebrate Patrakar Diwas at Mantralaya

Hope the bond of journalists further strengthens our relations,’ said Maharashtra minister for public works, textiles and in-charge minister for Maharashtra boundary areas – Chandrahas Patil.
Patil was speaking during Diary and Directory – 2016 that was brought out by Kannadiga Patrakartara Sangh Maharashtra, at Mantralaya, here on Wednesday January 6.
The chief secretary of Mantralaya Devendra Bhujbal released the Diary and Directory – 2016 on the occasion.
Bhujpal garlanded to the portrait of Marathi print media founder Darpankar Acharya Bala Shastry Jambekar and offered motion for celebration of Patrakar Diwas at Mantralaya here.
Kannadiga Patrakartara Sangh Maharashtra president Chandrashekar Palettady presided the simple function.
Mantralaya officials Chandan Shirvale and Chandrakant Shinde, State Release Foundation – Pune president, Rekhi expert Ashok Deshmukh were the guests of honor.
Kannadiga Patrakartara Sangh Maharashtra honorary general secretary Rons Bantwal, Patrakar Bhavan Committee president Shiva M Mudigere, sports Committee president Jaya C Poojary, joint secretary Babu K Belchada, executive Committee member Shyam M Hande were present.
