Udupi: Vishwasadamane, Shankerpura reunites TN destitute woman with family

Udupi, 06 Jan 2016: Vishwasadamane, a rehabilitation center for orphaned at Shankerpura, near here rescued a destitute woman who was found loitering in the neighborhood of Udyavar, here 2 months ago and reunited with her family after restoring her wellbeing.
The thirty-five-year-old woman hailing form Tamil Nadu (TN) who was found to be nuisance in the neighborhood was taken to Vishwasadamane by Samaritan - Kaup police. Vishwasadamane – chief functionary Pastor Sunil John D’Souza led staff attended to the total wellbeing of her along with doctors. Meanwhile, she recovered from mental illness and expressed her wish to reunite with her family.
She revealed her name as Mani, hailing from Coimbattore, Tamil Nadu. Vishwasadamane staff tried to locate her family through their associates in Tamil Nadu and managed to get in touch with them.
Mani’s real name is Arputamani, she is one amongst 5 children in her family. She had bouts of mental illness when she turned 25 years. Her brother Subramanya who arrived at Vishwasadamane, here on Monday January 4, said that Mani disappeared from the house one night during November 2015. Despite they continued their look out to trace her were in vain, when they registered a missing case with local police. Mani is married and has five-year-old son. Subramanya was happy to take his sister along with him to reunite with the family. He also thanked Vishwasadamane staff in caring to give a new lease of life to his sister.
