Dubai: Kannada movie, Aatagara creates history in Gulf

Dubai, 24 Nov 2015: Aatagara, Kannada movie created new records in the Gulf. It has become the first ever Kannada movie to be screened in Salalah, Sultanate of Oman and it is also the first ever Kannada movie to be formally launched in Dubai by Kannada film industry’s maverick star Sadhu Kokila.

 

November 20 marked a special day for Kannadigas in Dubai, as the multi-talented actor, director and musician Sadhu Kokila graced Galleria Cinemas to launch Aatagara, Kannada movie. He was warmly welcomed by Gulf Kannada movies distributor Deepak Somashekara, followed by memento presentation by Kannada Koota president Sadan Das.

 

 

Speaking on the occasion, Sadhu Kokila appreciated and thanked Deepak for his efforts to release Kannada movies in Gulf. He also thanked all Kannadigas and Kannada organization in supporting him. He further encouraged the audience to view all Kannada movies released and stressed on the fact that Kannada movies are coming with very good quality nowadays. He expressed his interest to discuss with Kannada film industry personnel to see how he can support Deepak Somashekara in releasing more Kannada movies. Sukheesh Dwarakesh (son of legendary actor Dwarakesh) concluded the occasion by being grateful to Sadhu Kokila for being the guest of honor. Aatagara received overwhelmed response for audience with houseful show.

On further demand, the same show will be organized at Galeria, here on Saturday November 28 at 4.10pm.

 

Aatagara, movie is directed by K M Chaitanya, produced by Dwarakish Yogish, under the banner Dwarakish Chitra. Chiranjeevi Sarja, Parul Yadav, Meghana Raj, Balaji Manohar, Anu Prabhakar, Dwarakish, P Ravi Shankar, Ananth Nag and Pavana are cast in the movie that is of 2-hours-and-8-minutes duration.
