Mumbai: Bharat Co-op Bank opens eighty-second branch at Surat, Gujarat

Mumbai, 21 Nov 2015: Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited, a multistate scheduled bank opened its eighty-second branch at Central Bazaar Complex, Varaccha, Surat, Gujarat on Thursday November 19.
The Bank chairman and All India Billawa Federation president Jaya C Suvarna offered unto society the Surat branch by cutting the ribbon on Thursday morning.
Surat local veteran entrepreneur Havanje Shivaram Shetty inaugurated the branch by lighting the lamp.
The Bank deputy chairperson advocate Rohini J Salian inaugurated ATM kiosk, while the senior director Pushpalata N Salian inaugurated the safe lockers and CEO and managing director C R Mulky inaugurated the banking services at the new branch.
Surat MLA Kumar Kanani, Billawa Sangha – Surat honorary president Krishna S Anchan, president Vishwanat Poojary Badoly, vice president Prabhakar Suvarna, Karnataka Samaja – Surat president Manoh C Poojary, vice president Prabhakar Suvarna, Dayanand Bontra Baroda, ACP V B Patil, Himanshu Solanke, sub-inspector C K Patel, building owner Rajendra Chokavala, entrepreneurs Sadhoo S Poojary Brahmavar, Dinesh S Poojary Brahmavar, Harish Lakane, hundred of customers, well wishers were present.
The Bank directors advocate S B Amin, Chandrashekar S Poojary, R D Poojary, K B Poojary, Gangadar J Poojary, general managers Shobha Dayanand and Sunil A Gujaran and others were present.
The Vedic celebrants Shekar Shanti Ulloor and Dhananjay Shanti Ulloor performed religious rites led by branch manager Prashant P Poojary and Bharati Poojary couple at the new branch.
The deputy general manager and head of development department Mohandas Hejamady welcomed the gathering. The general manager Nityanand D Kotian compered the programme. Prashant Poojary proposed vote of thanks.
