Puttur: Global scenario works with imagination - Dr Mallikarjunappa

Puttur, 10 Oct 2015: St Philomena College, PG department of commerce, here organized a state level commerce and management Fest, ‘Philo Ventura 2015-Canamos’ at College auditorium, on Friday October 9.
The College principal Professor Leo Noronha after inaugurating the Fest said, ‘Global citizenship, employability and skill oriented education are the three basic elements in higher education.’
Professor Dr T Mallikarjunappa, chairman of department of business administration, Mangalore University was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Mallikarjunappa said, ‘In the global scenario everything works with imagination.’
Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, chairperson of Centre for Post Graduate Studies and Research, St Philomena College, here was the guest of honor.
St Philomena education institutions correspondent Fr Alfred J Pinto presided the function.
Manasa and group rendered the prayer song. Professor Divyashree K, co-ordinator of the department and the Fest welcomed the gathering. The student co-ordinators Steena Peter introduced the ‘Philo Ventura 2015’ and Abhishek Suvarna proposed the vote of thanks. Smitha Rose compered the programme.
