Moodbidri: Alvas Nudisiri - 2015, National Cultural Extravaganza from Nov 26 to 29

Moodbidri, 10 Oct 2015: Alvas Education Foundation® here will be organizing Alvas Nudisiri – 2015, national cultural extravaganza at Sundari Anand Alva campus, Vidyagiri, here from Thursday November 26 to Sunday November 29.

 

The stage will be set with mega seating arrangements for over 20,000 viewers during Alvas Nudisiri 0 2015 that will be inaugurated here on Tuesday November 26 at 6.00pm.

 

Various sessions, special lectures, poets meet, etc themed, ‘Karnataka: in search of innovations,’ will be held at Ratnakara Varni stage at Nudisiri precinct. The valedictory function will be held on Sunday November 29 at 3.00pm.

 

 

Dr T V Venkatachala Shastry to chair Alvas Nudisiri – 2015

Dr Shastry was born in Kanakapura in Ramanagar district.  He served as Kannada professor, reader, director and dean of arts department for nearly 40 years with Mysore University. He is the senior-most professor and scholar of past century. He is proficient in ancient scriptures, manuscripts, grammar, history etc.  He is one among the top researchers of Kannada.

 

 

Dr Veena Shanteshwar to inaugurate Alvas Nudisiri – 2015

Dr Veena is a retired profession of English Karnataka Arts College, Dharwad, where she served as professor for 30 years and principal for 9 years. She is a renowned story writer, novelist, translator and efficient administrator. She is well known in Kannada sphere for feminine virtues.

 

The student representatives can partake in 4-day Alvas Nudisiri with free food and accommodation. Other representatives can partake by paying just Rs 100 for 4-day.
