Mumbai: Mental bliss leads to total wellbeing - Prof B M Hegde

Mumbai, 04 Oct 2015: ‘We become victims of mental illness because of pent up envy, jealousy, anger and ego. Our health takes a toll owing to negative thoughts. The secret of good health is purity of thoughts,’ said Manipal University retired vice chancellor Professor B M Hegde.
 
Professor Hegde was delivering lecture on Holistic Living tht was orgnaied jointly by Bunts Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Mulund Buns at Bunts Bhavan auditorium, Kurla (East) here on Sunday October 4 morning.
 
Bunts Sangh Mumbai® president Karnire Vishwanat Shetty inaugurated the programme.

 

 

Professor Hegde further said, ‘One becomes mentally ill because he is unnecessarily concerned about others. He goes to doctor for imagined illness. If one has his mind under control, he will have good health. The pharmaceutical giants are exploiting the people by promising quick relief to their ailments. Its irony that the people blindly believe in scientific inventions that makes them guinea pigs,’ said Professor Hegde.
