Mumbai: Bharat Bank, multistate scheduled bank opens 74th branch at Boisar

Mumbai, 23 Sep 2015: Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited, leading multistate scheduled bank opened its seventy-fourth branch at the ground floor of Sanman Apartments, Noufar Road, Boisar, Palghar district here on Tuesday September 22.
The Bank chairman Jaya C Suvarna inaugurated the seventy-fourth branch by cutting the ribbon hereon Tuesday morning. The local corporator Suhasini Naik inaugurated the branch by lighting the lamp.
The Bank deputy chairperson advocate Rohini J Salian inaugurated ATM kiosk, director Bhaskar M Salian inaugurated safe lockers. The Bank managing director and CEO C R Mulky inaugurated the banking services.
Speaking on the occasion, entrepreneur Jagannat Bhandary said that it’s the far-reaching plans and banking knowledge of Jaya Suvarna leading the Bank to open its branches all over the country. It’s not easy to open many branches in a short time. It has been made possible because of the social concern of Jaya Suvarna.
The hotelier Bhujanga Shetty said that there are about 6 lac Tulu – Kannadigas settled in Boisar who would be the potential customer of the Bank.
Satya M Kotian, building owner Yogesh Shetty, Mallika Shetty, Sukumar Shetty, Sundar Poojary, Raju Takoor, Devaraj Poojary Dombivali, Sunita S Amin, Shakuntala B Shetty, Billawar Association Mumbai honorary general secretary Dharmapal G Anchan, youth wing president Nilesh B Poojary, social activists Srinivas Karkera, Nagesh Poojary, Yashwant Kotian, Chandayya Karnire, Padmanabha K Poojary were present.
The Bank directors K B Poojary, Suryakant J Suvarna and Gangadhar J Poojary, former director N M Sanil, head of development department Sunil Gujaran, Avish S Poojary, Vijay Palan, Bharat Bank Employees Union president Ramesh T Poojary, chief general manager Anil Kumar R Amin, general manager Shobha Dayanand, deputy general manager Suresh R Salian, branch manger Prakash V Salian, assistant manager Jyoti Jawaharkar, staff Vivek Mabian, Chetan Poojary, Shreya Poojary, Samiksha Raut, Ganesh Dubla were also present.
The Vedic celebrants Ulloor Dinesh Shanti and Ulloor Dhananjay performed religious rites at the new branch.
The Bank general manager Nityanand D Kotian welcomed the gathering and compered the programme. Prakash V Salian proposed vote of thanks.
