Mumbai: Bharat Bank gets Top Bank Award from Brahanmumbai Nagari Sahakari Banks Association

Mumbai, 11 Aug 2015: Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited, for the consecutive year bagged Top Bank Award of The Brahanmumbai Nagari Sahakari Banks Association Limited, stated the media release.
Bharat Bank bagged the Award for exceeding the turnover of Rs 1,500 crore during 2013 – 14, said Banks Association chairman Dattaram Chalke.
Banks Association minutely reviews the customer service, growth and annual accounts in conferring the award. It’s a great pleasure to bag the award for the successive years, said Bharat Bank chairman Jaya C Suvarna and deputy chairperson advocate Rohini.
The Bank has share capital of Rs 124.70 crore, reserves of Rs 563.80 crore, fixed deposit of Rs 6,077.60 crore, savings of Rs 971.92 crore, current account Rs 510.48, recurring deposit of Rs 131.16 crore, Bharat daily deposit of Rs 66.75 crore. It has achieved a total turn over of Rs 7,757.91 crore. The loans and advances at Rs 5,253.06 crore, gross profit Rs 975.40 crore, net profit of Rs 112.66 crore, working capital at Rs 8,864.82 crore, said Bank managing director and CEO C R Mulky.
The credit goes to the efficiency of Board of Directors, top officers and all staff, said the Bank general manager Nityanand D Kotian.
The Award will be conferred during the function scheduled to be held at Hotel Kohinoor auditorium, Prabhadevi, Dadar (West) here on Wednesday August 12, said the Bank deputy general manager and head of development department Mohandas Hejmady.
