Mangaluru: Yeregla Panodchi, Tulu movie reaches final stages of shooting

Mangaluru, 03 Aug 2015: The shooting of Yeregla Panodchi, Tulu movie of renowned sandalwood movie director Kodlu Ramakrishna is nearing completion. It’s the twenty-fifth movie of Kodlu Ramakrishna. The movie is based on daily life in a locality. Every scene has resemblance to happenings at our times. It’s the story around middle class women. Four families live in rented houses in a locality. The women aspire to own their house, while their husbands are least bothered. A social activist who arrives at the locality dampens the aspiration of women to own their homes.  The story takes the turn of comedy entertaining the viewers throughout.  

 

The renowned movie artistes of both Tulu and Kannada filmdom are cast in the movie that was shot in Mangaluru, Theertahalli, Bengaluru and Udupi. It has been shot in tourist spots of coastal district including the splendor of Yakshagana. The movie will be premiered shortly.

 

 

The artistes Shivadwaj, Sandeep Shetty, Nitu, Anita Bhat, Ila Vittal, Raksha Pai, Shobha Rai, Bhojaraja Vamanjoor, Arvind Bolar, Sundar Rai Mandara, Ravi Suratkal, Pradeep Alva, Roopa Varkady, Kavita Rai, Sasidar Bellayar, Tamma Laxman, Rajgopal Josh and others cast in the movie.

 

The script by Banashankari, producer B L Murali and S K Shetty, director Kodly Ramakrishna, cameraman Sasidar Shettar, dialogues Sachin Shetty Kumble and Prashant Kalldka, lyrics by Suresh Aras, choreographer Tamma Laxman, music by Giridar Divan, literature by Dr Umesh, Devraj (RTO) manager.

 

Kodlu Ramakrishna had so far directed 34 movies. Tulu movie, Yeregla Panodchi is the twenty-fifth movie directed by Kodlu Ramakrishna.  He had also directed Tulu movies, Ratre Pagel and Tudar in the past. Tudar movie bagged state award also. Tulu movie, Yeregla Panodchi is a family story with comedy touch. A few commercial aspects are being included in the movie. The versatile artistes of Tulu theater enriched the movie with their comedy.  It has a social message too.
