Bhopal: A big Success to Bible writing event organized by Bible Mitr team

Bhopal, 31 Jul 2015: A unique Bible Writing Event was held at St Joseph’s Co-Education School, Arera Colony, near here under the supervision of Bhopal Archdiocese on Thursday July 30. The Bible Miter Team, which is a group of religious priests, nuns and laities, was responsible for organizing and handling this event about Bible chapter writing. Hindi version of the Bible, pen and paper were provided by the Bible Miter team to each participant. All the parishes and Mission stations of Bhopal archdiocese participated in the event and arrived with their own Bible. 

 

The task was assigned to different individual participants and each participant had to bring their own Bible.

 

 

Fr Suman Kumar Tirkey, president of Bible Mitr said that the whole purpose of organizing this event was to spread the awareness of holy bible and letting people know about it by writing its chapters.

 

All the churches and parishes of Bhopal city had gathered at St Joseph’s Co-Education School to participate in the event. Overall, this event was organized in 4 different places. The four venues were selected as St Joseph’s Co-Education School, Arera Colony, here, Servite Higher Secondary School, Hoshangabad, St Joseph’s School, Pipariya and  Pushpa Senior Secondary School, Ashta.

 

 

Archbishop of Bhopal Dr Leo Cornelio was invited to hold a prayer and give blessings to the participants at St Joseph’s Co-Education School.

 

Speaking on the occasion Archbishop Dr Leo said, ‘I support the holy cause and my good wishes will be always there with the participants for coming out with good output along with spiritually stronger soul. The Bible teaches us the art of living our lives more positively, and this platform is an excellent opportunity to inculcate the teachings of bible, while writing the chapters.’

 

There were 1,334 chapters already allotted to the Christian people to write one single chapter by each individual. This written chapter would be saved as a written Hindi Bible as a records in the Archdiocese.
