Mumbai: Swami Gurudevanand of Odiyoor mutt arrives on metro tour

Mumbai, 29 Jul 2015: Swami Gurudevanand of Odiyoor mutt in Bantwal taluk of DK district, Karnataka arrived at the metro here on Tuesday July 28.
Gurudeva Seva Balaga Maharashtra unit president advocate Kadandale Parari Prakash L Shetty and other office bearers offered traditional welcome when Swami Gurudevanand and Sadwi Matanandamayee arrived at Santacruz Airport, here on Tuesday evening.
Addressing the gathering, Swami Gurudevanand said that the latest innovations in technology and research will not supersede spirituality. The religion is the basis for cultural and spiritual bliss. The spirituality cleanses the overtures of mankind, while the devotees are the real asset of spirituality. The religious practices leads to societal progress, said Swami Gurudevanand.
Swami Gurudevanand lauded the extraordinary contributions of Dr Kalam to the nation and his humility being the peoples President.
