Mumbai: Bharat Bank opens 70th branch at Malad (E)

Mumbai, 14 Jul 2015: Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited, multi-state scheduled bank opened its seventieth branch at Cosmic Heritage Buliding, G G Malkeri Road, Koknipada, near Western Express Highway, Nakad (East) here on Monday July 13 morning.

 

Bharat Bank chairman Jaya C Suvarna inaugurated the seventieth branch on the occasion. Billawar Association – Malad president Santosh K Poojary inaugurated the banking services.

 

The Bank deputy chairperson advocate Rohini J Salian inaugurated the safe locker facility. The Bank managing director and CEO C R Mulky and director Pushpalata N Salian inaugurated the computerized services.

 

 

Speaking on the occasion, Santosh K Poojary lauded the efforts of Bharat Bank in opening new branch in the neighborhood of Kurar, an extended suburb of Malad that was unserviced by any banks so far. It has reduced the hardship of locals to transact their banking needs.   

 

NCP leader Ajit Rao Rane, Congress leader Sunil Bhandarkar, entrepreneur Mosabai, Mohit Kamboja, Bharat Suresh Poojary (Sukh Sagar), the Bank former directors Mohandas G Poojary and Shankar D Poojary, social activist M D Billava, advocate Jayant Shetty, K K Poojary, Narayan D Jattan, Anand D Poojary, Suresh Karkera, Anand Singh, Naveen Karkera, Satish N Bangera, hundreds of new customers, shareholders, well wishers were present.

 

The Bank directors Jyoti K Suvarna, advocate S B Amin, R D Poojary, Ashok M Kotian, Bhaskar M Salian, Gangadhar J Poojary, Suryakant J Suvarna, chief general manager Anil Kumar R Amin, general manager Shobha Dayanand, deputy general managers V S Shanbagh, Raghu Poojary, Dinesh B Salian, Prabhakar G Suvarna and Vishwanat C Suvarna,  assistant general managers Vasudev P Salian and Mahesh Kotian, chief manager Gopal Kotian, Bharat Bank Employees Union president Ramesh T Poojary, Bharat Bank Officers Association president Kiran B Amin and others were also present.

 

The Vedic celebrants Ulloor Dhananjay Shanti and Ulloor Dinesh Shanti performed religious celebrations at the new branch. Shekar Shanti Ulloor distributed the prasam. Pramila Anand Anchan, Dinesh C Salian and Savita Dinesh couple held the leadership of Vedic celebrations.

 

The Bank deputy general manager and head of development department Mohandas Hejmady welcomed the gathering. The branch manager Pramila A Anchan welcomed the gathering. The staff Mamata S Suvarna, Chaitra Poojary, Rakshit N Kotian, Roshni Poojary and Shailesh Anchan honored the dignitaries with flower bouquets. The assistant manager Prashant Poojary proposed vote of thanks.
