Bantwal: Youngster burdened with huge debt commits suicide at Vittal

Bantwal, 13 Jul 2015: A depressed youngster committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling using one of his lungi in a building located near Vittal private bus stand, here on Sunday July 12.
The deceased has been identified as thirty-three-year-old Mohammed Rafiq, a painter by profession who is son of Shahul Hameed, residing at Okkettoor in Vittal - Kasaba village, near here. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and one son.
Rafiq was living in Heera Towers located nearby Vittal private bus stand since a few months. His colleagues met him at his room on Saturday July 11 morning. However, when they returned on Sunday morning, they saw Rafiq hanging on the ceiling.
Rafiq was depressed owing to huge debts that has led him to take drastic action, informed the reliable sources.
Vittal police registered a case in this regard. The police had tough time control huge crowd gathered at the location.
