Mumbai: Investiture Ceremony to usher in new academic year at St Xavier’s High School, Borival

Mumbai, 05 Jul 2015: Taking to the heart the spirit of responsibility St Xavier’s High School, Borivali (East) here initiated its academic year 2015-16 with the Investiture ceremony.
The event was made graceful with Bible reading, prayer and the prayer dance. The event was raised to the heights of prestige by the presence of the chief guest inspector Sunil Dahibhate, sub-inspector Vijaya Giri and photography Times Weekly editor Kiran Manjrekar and Pastor Vikas, who prayer God’s grace and blessings upon the school.
The programme was given its dignity by the special march by the new school parliament followed by oath taking ceremony. The guests felicitated the students who excelled in various school extracurricular activities.
A sapling was planted in honour of the vision of environment of St Xavier’s education institutions chairman Dr A F Pinto.
The guests addressed the gathering, instilling in them the spirit of responsibility towards our nation. The event was given a wonderful closure through the closing chorus followed by school Anthem and National Anthem.
