Mumbai: HSC student Bharatanatyam dancer Priyanjali Rao performs at London & Hague

Mumbai, 01 Jul 2015: Priyanjali Rao, former student of Arya Vidya Mandir, Bandra (West) here and currently Higher Secondary Class (HSC) student of of H R College of Commerce and Economics is learning dance from Guru Revathi Srinivas Raghavan of Nrityaranjani Fine Arts Academy, Kandivli (East), here.

 
She had recently performed solo at London and at The Hague in Netherlands.

 
The program in London was graced by the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of East London. The audiences which were mainly Indian expats were left spellbound and enjoyed every dance performance of hers. This trip has been her first major international dance performance apart from Dubai where she participated in a dance competition in December 2013 and won the second prize.

 

 
She also performed solo at the Godrej Dance Theatre, NCPA, Mumbai for AAVEG - the Best of Mood Indigo 2014 conducted by IIT Bombay on June 28. This event was a platform for all prize winners who won during the Mood Indigo 2014 competition held in December 2014. In the classical dance field, Priyanjali won the third prize from amongst 70 contestants from all over India.
