Bantwal: Ganapati Bhat elected Prez of Sajipamooda GP, Leena Miranda VP

Bantwal, 30 June 2015: Congress backed members Ganapati Bhat and Leena Miranda were unanimously elected as new president and new president of Sajipamooda gram panchayat (GP).

 

The town council chief officer Leena Britta was the nodal officer held the proceedings of election that was held at Rajeev Seva Kendra of Sajipamooda gram panchayat here on Monday June 29.

 

 

Panchayat development officer was present.

 

The president’s post was reserved for general category, while the vice president’s post was reserved for women from backward class B category.

 

Congress leader Sanjeev Poojary, ZP member Mamata Gatti, TP member Pushpavati, local leaders Vishwanat Belchada and Girish Perva congratulated the newly-elected people’s representatives on the occasion.
