Udupi: ICYM Moodubelle orginises Career Guidance for youth

Udupi/M’belle, 24 Jun 2015: On the occasion of YUVA EKTHAR held on Sunday, 21 June 2015, ICYM Moodubelle organized a second program on career guidance called “Mukhaar Kithem?” (what’s ahead?) for the members of ICYM and YCS pertaining to 8th, 9th and 10th standard studentsin the Parish Hall.

The program began in the morning at 11.30 am with the inaugural stage program. Prof. Vincent Alva was the chief guest and resource person of this event. He explained the various options available for the students to choose from and gave a clear picture about how to choose the right option for each one. He also narrated the importance of Science, Commerce and also Arts.Sometimes people prefer to go for Science and Commerce as they are not aware that Arts is equal to Science, commerce or any other field. He gave different examples on how people achieved their career growth in a short span of time. He also explained the importance of choosing the right career path and pre planning which will help in avoiding wasting of precious years.

 

Prof. Vincent Alva who hails from Pamboor parish is a currently serving as English lecturer in Milagres College, Kallianpur and he is a well-known orator, trainer, and a social activist.

This program was earlier inaugurated and blessed by Parish priest of Moodubelle church Fr.Clement Mascarenhas and also attended by other priests and representatives.
