Mangaluru: Kalakul, Konkani’s lone theater repertory invites applications for new batch

Mangaluru, 09 June 2015: Applications are invited for the 2015-16 batch of Kalakul – Konkani’s lone professional theater repertory, promoted by Mandd Sobhann, city-based organization promoting Konkani and its distinct culture worldwide.

 

Konkani boys and girls within the age group of 15 years -35 years who are interested in Konkani theater are eligible to apply.

Selection will be held at Kalaangann, here on Sunday June 14 at 10.00am. Selected artists will get Rs 2,500 stipend per month and in addition to this, honorarium will be paid per show. Hostel facility is also available. Repertory is functioning daily (Monday thro’ Friday) from 6.00pm to 8.30pm.
