Mangaluru: BIG FM celebrates ’BIG Success’ of Chaali Polilu’ Tulu movie

Mangaluru, 19 May 2015: The Tulu film industry also known as Coastalwood has been producing 3 to 5 cinemas annually. In the last couple of years however, with increased interest by fans spanning all ages the number of films released per year has gone up. Not only has the quality of films improved, but also the steady inflow of movie buffs.

 

One such film that recently set a new benchmark is ’Chaali Polilu’, directed by Virendra Shetty and produced by Prakash Pandeshwar, the movie has completed 200 successful days in the box office.

 

 

To celebrate the BIG Success, the team at 92.7 BIG FM Mangaluru along with the movie cast and crew had a victory cake cutting ceremony at the 92.7 BIG FM Mangaluru premises located at Bharath Mall here on Monday May 18.

 

The fans also got a chance to interact with the producer and director who went live on air with RJ Roopesh as a part of the regular Big Coffee programme between 8.00am to 11.00am.

 

Karnataka health minister U T Khadar, who was one among the dignitaries present on the occasion said, ‘I am extremely happy for ‘Chali Polilu’ Tulu movie success and thanks to all Tulu movie lovers for supporting this movie. I congratulate Prakash Pandeshwar, Virendra Shetty Kavoor and all the star casts such as Telikeda Bolli Devdas Kapikda, Kusaldarase Navin D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Surendra Bantwal, Arvind Bolar, Divyashree and each and everyone who are part of this movie. I also appreciate 92.7 BIG FM staff for arranging BIG success programme to celebrate the success of the movie,’ said minister Khader.

 

 

The producer Prakash Pandeshwar said, ‘I am happy to see the love and support for ‘Chaali Polilu.’ It gave me confidence to do more Tulu Movies. Shortly, Chaali Polilu will be screening in Australia, Bahrain. At present you can enjoy the movie at PVR. From next week, you can watch ’Chaali Polilu’ movie at Prabhath Talkies. I thank each and everyone for supporting.

 

The director Virendra Shetty said, ‘Its team work which gave us success. Chaali Polilu success is dedicated to entire team. I also thank 92.7 BIG FM for the whole-hearted support for the movie.’
