B’luru: MVJ College of Engg celebrates 88th Founders Day

Bengaluru, 18 May 2015: MVJ college of Engineering celebrated Founders Day here on Sunday May 17.

 

Founder’s Day commemorates the birth anniversary of Dr M V Jayaraman (1928-1993) the legendary founder of the MVJ group of Institutions. The management, students and staff of MVJCE dedicate this day by celebrating their excellence in academics, research and sports activities.

 

 

The 88th Birth Anniversary celebration of this visionary was inaugurated by R V Deshpande, state minister for higher education and tourism.

 

Appreciating the excellent track records of the college, minister Deshpande said, ‘With the rapidly changing education systems, MVJCE has taken pioneering efforts to deliver values and excellent world-class education across multiple disciplines. They have been setting new bench marks year after year and contributing and setting standards in the field of Higher Education.’
