Puttur: St Philomena PU College gets ’A’ Grade from Karnataka PU Board

Puttur, 10 May 2015: St Philomena Pre-Univesity College which was established in 1958 at Darbe, here is imparting value based education for the past several years. The Pre-University Board has accredited the College with ‘A’ grade.
For I PUC admissions have begun for the academic year 2015-16. The College offers PCMB, PCMC, PCMS and PCME options in Science; SEBA, BASC, ECBA options in Commerce and HESP options in Arts.
The College has highly competent, experienced and committed team of teaching faculty. They focus on the overall development of the students. For the outstation students there are separate hostels for boys and girls within the campus.
The College is managed by the Catholic Board of Education which provides all the facilities for the overall development of the students. It has fixed an affordable college fee. There is management fee concession for students scoring 95 percent and above marks in SSLC.
Regular CET/JEE, Bridge Course and Remedial classes are conducted. CPT Coaching Classes for the commerce students are held regularly. This year PCME - Electronics combination in Science and ECBA combination in Commerce are newly introduced.
