Bantwal, 05 May 2015: Despite several years passed since the nation was liberated, the issues of common folks are not fulfilled yet. Instead of uniting the people, selfish politics is exploiting caste, religion and bias on economic status. When there is love and communal harmony, the progress will take place by itself, said MLC Captain Ganesh Karnic.
MLC Captain Karnic was speaking after laying the foundation for concreting Thumbay – Demunde Road @ Rs 5 lac under MLC’s fund, here on Sunday May 3.
The common folk expect good roads, drinking water supply, twenty-four-hour electricity supply, health facilities from government. The village councils are working with the same notion, said MLC Captain Karnik.
Thumbay gram panchayat president Mohammed Valavoor, zilla panchayat vice president Satish Kumpala, former MLA Padmanabha Kottari, taluk panchayat member Anita M Poojary, taluk panchayat former member Somappa Kotian, Thumbay gram panchayat member Praveen D Thumbay, leaders Manoj Acharya Nanya, Praveen Shetty, Manohar Shetty, Dinesh Shetty Kottinja and Ganesh Thumbay were present.
