Bantwal: 10 Couples wedded in mass wedding programme at Farangipet

Bantwal, 27 Apr 2015: The social welfare activities brings one immense happiness than wealth and status in life, such deeds are dear to God, said state health and family welfare minister U T Khader.

 

The minister Khader was speaking during mass wedding programme held at Farangipet, here on Sunday April 26. It was jointly organized by Muhiyuddin Jumma masjid and Kidmkatul Islam Association of Farangipete, here.

 

He further said mass wedding programmes are contributing for social reform in the community. The patience has great virtue, because when one has perseverance, even his staunch enemy would someday want to become his friend, added Khader. 

 

Muhiyuddin Jumma masjid president F Mohammed Bawa presided the programme.

Shaikuna Sayyed Jainul Abidin Gifry Tangal, Mudaris of Adyar – Kannur inaugurated the programme.

 

Kazi Twaka Ahmed Musliar of Mangaluru performed the first nuptial of mass wedding couples.

 

MUDA commissioner Mohammed Nazeer, Farangipet Jumma masjid Mudaris Usman Darimi, Mahin Darim Patoor, A Yousuf Alankar, Abdul Majeed Saudi Arabia, Hidaya Foundation secretary Hanif Haji Goltamajalu, Abid Ali, Altaf Hussein Bahrain, Ammemmar Jummamasjid president Umarabba, Arkula – Jumma masjid president Abdul Sattar, Sujir Malli, Hydroshia Jumma masjid president Abdul Salam, community leaders Noushad Haji, Siddiq Darimi Kadaba, Mohammed Badruddin, Arafa Group chairman Abdul Latif, Ahmed Bawa Uppinangady, Razak Ammemmar, F M Basheer, Salim Tailor, TP member Asif Iqbal, Farangipet Jumma masjid vice president Ibrahim Kumpanamajalu, treasurer Majeed Farangipet and others were present.  

 

Farangipet – Muhiyuddin Jumma masjid secretary Ummer Farouq welcomed the gathering. Salim Altaf Dubai delivered the introductory address. Khader proposed vote of thanks.

 

The teacher Razak Anantady, Beary Sahitya Academy member Abdul Hameed Goltamajalu, gram panchayat vice president Mohammed Sharif compered the programme.

 

Ten couple were wedded during the mass wedding programme. Each bridegroom was presented with wrist watch, new dress and the bride was presented with new dress, watch, Rs 25,000 for burkha and 5 sovereign pound gold jewellery.
