Beltangady: Bishop Dr Aloysius ordains Deacon Stany Pinto to Priesthood

Beltangady, 17 Apr 2015: Bishop Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza ordained Deacon Stany Pinto to the priesthood at St Francis Xavier Church, Indubettu, near here on Thursday April 16. With this ordination the Diocese of Mangaluru gets 10 new priests for this year.

 

 

The new priest Fr.Stany Pinto hails from Indubettu parish and this parish being one of the smallest parish in the diocese of Mangalore has given many vocations to the religious life. It was fitting that the ordination ceremony being held here so as to foster vocations to the religious life.

After the ordination ceremony a small felicitation was held in the Church ground.

Nearly 50 priests joined the celebration and great number of religious nuns and lay people were present.
