Beltangady: Dharmasthala is open to serve poor & downtrodden - Veerendra Heggade

Beltangady, 10 Apr 2015: ‘It’s my destiny to be Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala and fortunate to be born in cultured family and also to have dedicated staff. I will surrender all my humanitarian deeds with all humility to Lord as inspired by purity of my heart and strong faith in Manjunat Swamy,’ said Dharmadhikari Veerendra Heggade.
Heggade was speaking during a function held at Amrutavarshini auditorium of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, here on Thursday April 9, when he had arrived after receiving Padma Vibhushan Award at New Delhi.
Heggade further said, ‘Dharmasthala is open for the service of poor and downtrodden. My responsibility has increased after receiving the Award and hopes to extend the social welfare activities to larger areas. Sri Kshetra Dharamsthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) will be extended to rest of 4 districts of Karnataka to cover the entire state in August 2015. The rural Karnataka needs further growth. The social welfare organizations need to join the state administration in this regard,’ said Heggade.
