M’luru: Konkani Teachers annual Convention in city on Apr 7

Mangaluru, 4 Apr 2015: The Konkani teachers’ annual convention will be held at CODP auditorium, located near Padua High School, Nantoor, here on Tuesday April 7.

The mayor Jacinta Vijay Alfred will be the chief guest of the occasion.

Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy president Roy Castelino will preside the programme.

Dr T M A Pai B Ed College principal Professor Mahabaleshwar Rao will deliver keynote address on the need to study mother tongue.

 

Konkani Kristavn Kazaram, Konkani book authored by Herolfius and published by the Academy will be released on the same occasion.

The late Jessy Castelino memorial top Teachers Award sponsored by Mandd Sobhann will be conferred during the programme, as stated in the media release issued by the registrar of Academy.
