Sullia: 11-year-old boy loses life in bus-bicycle accident on birthday

Sullia, 25 Mar 2015: What can be called as a tragedy, a school boy who was going to distribute chocolates on his birthday lost his life after a KSTRC bus rammed his bicycle at Aramboor near here on Monday March 23.
The deceased has been identified as eleven-year-old Abu Tahir, son of Ahmed, an auto rickshaw driver and resident of Kallumutlu here. Abu Tahir breathed his last while being taken to a hospital after suffering grave injuries in this accident.
He was Class V student of Green View School and he had distributed chocolates to classmates after his exams on Monday. He was cycling to give chocolates to his married elder sister who lives nearby. Chocolates were found strewn around at the spot of the accident.
The KSRTC bus was plying to Mangaluru from Madikeri en route Sullia.
