Mangaluru: Chalipolilu, Tulu movie artistes get awards for distinct acting

Mangaluru, 15 Feb 2015: At the backdrop of Chalipolilu, Tulu movie produced under the banner of Jayakirana Films completing 100 days in box office, during the function held at Don Bosco Hall, here Saturday February 14, the cine artistes Arvind Bolar was awarded the title ‘Tuluva Manikya,’ another artiste Bhojaraj Vamanjoor was awarded the title ‘Navarasa Raja’ and Laxman Kumar Mallur was awarded the title ‘Rangabhushan.’
 
The veteran folklore scholar Dr B A Vivek Rai and Dr Hansaraj Alva honored the artistes Arvind Bolar and Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, while Mayor Mahabala Marla honored the artiste Laxman Kumar Mallur.

 

 
The music director V Manohar, Devdas Kapikad, Utpal Nair, Karnoor Mohan Rai, Girish Shetty Kateel, Prakash Pandeshwar, Veerendra Shetty Kavoor, Jagannat Shetty Bala and Kadri Navanit Shetty were present.
