Vry nice programme to educate the electricity consumers. I think the important aspect of awareness of using electricty is found missing. The Mescom is looting the Consumers on the name and scheme of raids and back billing. They are aware that for the load of connections and points of use THREE times the possible bill is paid as deposit. These squad raide and calculate the units of laod, though not in use and back bill and threaten to disconnect. Even though there is a saftey devise called the cut off switch which cuts of poer supply when use of load exceeds the total load and the consumer cannot get power supply, except by resetting by the depart-Mescom- this squad do not bother to under stand this technique or basic rule. Secondly they bak bill beyond the scope of pepriod according to Law and go back up to THREE years (illegally) assuming false facts and charge back bill of Lakhs. Further the assessing officer is not caring your plea but follows squad s observations and confirm the back bill. Thus you have to pay 50% of the back bill and use the current at higher tariff on appeal, which will not be disposed of within time. It is day time robbery. Thus robe the consuer unfairly!. |
