Bantwal, 10 Feb 2015: Ambedkar Road that is located in Kadeshwalya village is indeed disgrace for great Indian stalwart, because it has not seen asphalt since the past 20 years. All the pleas of locals to peoples’ representatives have gone to deaf ears.
Its about two-and-a-half kilometers of road that links Perlapu with Amai in Kadeshwalya village near here lies in deplored state, as one can see a few patches of bitumen that mocks at the inefficiency of local governance. It’s the vital link for the locals as there are mosques and temples in the locality.
Meanwhile, the auto rickshaw drivers who are facing the most of brunt from by plying their auto rickshaws on deplored road are readying themselves along with locals to stage a sit-in shortly, if the village council does not heed to their long-pending demands.
